Denim On Denim + The Perfect Leather Backpack

Denim on denim is my go to mom-iform (who am I kidding, I've been rocking this style, long before I became a mom). Seriously, I could wear a form of this outfit on repeat, day after day, if laundry was a little easier to get done. One of my favorite purchases I've made within the last year, has been this denim jacket from Anthropologie. Denim jackets are so versatile + perfect all year-round (depending on where you live). This particular jacket I fell in love with, because of the subtle railroad pattern on it, its light color + the little leather detail at the bottom buttons. Denim on denim is a favorite of mine + while I love the whole chambray top + jean combo, it's nice to switch it up a bit, pairing my jeans with a light denim jacket.

Another classic trend I'm wearing in this post is a backpack. I know, classic + trend, how can something be one in the same? Good question, but hear me out... Backpacks had a moment last summer, but in my opinion a leather backpack will never go out of style. I've been carrying this backpack from Madewell for the past eight months now (as a diaper bag) + couldn't be happier with it. I often find myself wanting to carrying it, even when I don't have Jayden with me, because I love it so much.

Lucky for you, my backpack is still available in both tan + black. I highly recommend it for travel, everyday or if you're a mom like me, as a stylish diaper bag alternative.

My sandals have been my summer favorite so far. I picked them up before our month-long trip (LA, Hawaii, Northern Ca., Puerto Rico), so I would have a comfortable summer sandal to wear, with a majority of what I packed. Super comfortable, great quality + obviously, I love the sparkle.
