Daniel Tiger DIY Costume, Halloween 2019

The obsession with Daniel Tiger first started in our home with Jude and then since Jude loved Daniel, Jayden was some how sucked in and started loving him too. I let me boys watch one episode of Daniel Tiger during afternoon snack, which I think might be the highlight of their day. To be honest, Daniel used to really annoy me (don’t tell PBS I said that), but I too have also falling in love with the cute little tiger version of Mr. Rodgers.

A few months back when we started talking Halloween costumes (yes, purl as we usually do a few each year), Daniel Tiger was one that kept popping up for Jayden. A few weeks ago, we decided it would be great costume for school on the Halloween and then in true Fallon fashion, I waited till the last minute to put it all together–luckily this costume was super easy. I am so happy with how this easy DIY turned out and most importantly Jayden was beyond impressed.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Red Hoodie

Yellow Sweats

Brown Paint

Tiger Tail*

Tiger Ears*

Face Makeup

*We made our tiger tail with a lion tail costume I found on clearance for $3 and some oversized brown pipe cleaner. The Daniel ears we had on hand but you could also easily make with felt and hair clips.
