When it comes to having a skin care routine, I have always been a makeup remover wipes kinda girl (and I still am to an extent #noshame).  But as I approach my mid 30s, I have been focusing more on taking care of my body and my skin, especially my face.  Over the past eight months or so I have implemented a pretty easy, yet effective skincare routine for both day and night (which I will share with you at a later date), but even with a routine in place,  I still love trying out new products and switching things up from time to time.

Introducing Shortlist! Less is more–that's their motto and the products they offer live up to that.  There are two products to choose from–a Serum and a cream, but both work best together.  Shortlist offers clean beauty products that can easily be incorporated into your current regimen or become your regimen all together.

I tried out both products for the past week and they were both really great.  I loved how light and airy the cream felt. It wasn't too thick and penetrated your skin well, leaving it feeling super moisturized.  With only 9 ingredients in the cream and 11 in the serum you know you're getting a simpler product without all the fillers. Shortlist is made with zero parabens, phthalates, sulfates, colorants, fragrances or mineral oils. Plus, it’s great on sensitive skin, too! To learn more about the Shortlist Duo, visit here.

Five Tips for Sticking to A Skin Care Routine

  1. Find products that you love that make your skin glow.
  2. Keep it simple. Less truly is more!
  3. Schedule in the more indulgent steps (like a face mask or facial)
  4. Don't be afraid to try new things!
  5. Leave your skincare out where you can see it (not hidden in a cabinet).  I find that I'm more likely to go through my routine when I see my products staring back at me.
