Green Juice Recipe | Pineapple, Spinach, Cucumber

It's been way to long, since I have shared a juice recipe with you... seriously, way-to-long! I think my juicer was starting to collect dust - in fact, I know it was. Lately, I have been so busy and in result, resorted to buying a green juice from my local juicer or *gasp* Pret A Manager - in my defense it's literally next door to my office and way better than a croissant.

Then it hit me, it only takes 10 mins to have a homemade juice and they sure do taste better, all I needed to do was use my time a little more wisely in the morning.  While I made this particular juice over the weekend, you would be proud to know that I also found the time this morning to make one to take with me to work - in under 10 min!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 chopped pineapple

  • 4 larger handfuls of spinach

  • 1/2 cucumber

  • 1 tbsp of chia seeds

Directions:

Place all ingredients into a juicer, in the order listed above.  Adding the spinach in the middle helps to ensure you will get all the nutrients and the cucumber, which is juiced easily will help pull through extra spinach juice, which would otherwise just sit there.  Add chia seeds, then stir.  I like to let sit in the fridge for 5 min or so, or add a few ice cubes to speed up the process. Enjoy!
