Casual Entertaining Tips

When it comes to last-minute entertaining at home, I like to keep it as simple as possible.  I tend to stress out very easily (something I’m working on), so the easier it is to pull everything together, the better for me.  Now, don’t get me wrong, I love a well-planned party with a theme.  But I leave those last minute extravaganzas to the pros.

When it comes to casual entertaining, the food is the most important.  But it doesn't have to be complicated to be delicious.  I love to cook + bake (rare to find someone who does both), so I can pull off delicious appetizers with no problem, but there are always those days when time is of the essence and for those times… cheese + crackers is more than enough!  I mean, who doesn't love cheese + crackers?!

One of my go-to cracker brands, mainly because of the variety, is Town House. With the wide variety that Town House offers, the possibilities are endless. I created a little cheat sheet below with some of my favorite combos.  Original is perfect for dips, toppings or spreads, or my personal favorite… a goat cheese log.  Pita is perfect for dipping, especially when hummus is involved. Flatbread and Pretzel Thins are perfect for serving on their own but also pair well with so many options.   Pretzels + peanut butter, anyone?

From presentably munch-able options, to dipping inspiration, to versatile possibilities, Town House has the variety that will help you stylishly host any type of gathering - from planned to impromptu.

In the next couple of weeks, we’re hoping to have a few people over to warm our new apartment. Since we’re still not completely done with fixing up the new place, time is off the essence.  With that said, you better believe I will be serving some quick + easy snacks with Town House.
