A Week in the life // TRESemmé 7 Day Keratin Smooth

As a part of the GLAM network, I recently partnered with TRESemmé to try their new 7 Day Keratin Smooth System and I'm so excited to share with you how much I love this product. First, let me describe my hair... I have curly hair and a lot of it, but contrary to popular belief my hair is actually pretty thin, I just have a lot.  The fact that it is not super think makes it pretty easy to manage, but does not take away the fact that my hair does get frizzy! So when TRESemmé approached me to try their new product, I jumped all over it.

My day-to-day lifestyle, working in fashion, is pretty jammed packed.  Throughout the week you may find me out my desk, on back to back calls or running in and out of meetings (if your lucky), but most times I jetting across the country visiting stores for work and training with my team.  On weekends, my scheduled is packed as well... between brunch, date nights, and keeping up with the blog, there is not much time left to worry about my hair, which is why I keep it simply.

With the 7 Day Smooth System, the Heat Activated Treatment (seen above) is really what works the magic.  This little guy promises to keep your hair smooth and frizz free for up to three washes. I only wash my hair 2 times per week, so I can only speak for 2 wash at this point, but I can honestly say, it works! On day 3 when I washed my hair for the 2nd time, since used the product, I didn't add any product after shampooing and the results were still the same.. smooth, easy to manage hair.

I go back and forth between curly/wavy weeks or straight weeks, depending on my mood. This week was a straight hair kind of week as you can see below, and after 7 Days with the new TRESemmé system, I couldn't be happier with the results.   Now is the fun part, let me tell you about my week!

Day 1: Just washed my hair with the new 7 Day Smooth System and followed up with the heat activated system.  As I mentioned, my hair is not to hard to manage, but I have to admit, it was even easier to straighten this morning and in no time, I was off to brunch enjoying the start of the weekend.

Day 4: Washed my hair last night and then, in the words of Beyoncé... "I woke up like this"... Had to cover up most f my hair as it was 6 degrees outside, but when I got to work, my hair was flawless and ready to take on a day of back to back meetings and Skype interviews.

Day 6: Today was an early one, with a 4:30am wake up call so I could catch a 6am train to DC.  With such a long day ahead of me I was so happy that it only took me 5 min to do my hair this morning.  Still looking smooth and salon ready!

Day 7: Another early morning... but this time I got to sleep in until 5:30am.  YES!  Headed to New Jersey for the day and WOW... can we say good hair day!  Look at that body and smoothness.  What a week!!!
